21-12-2011 02:04 There is a massive shift in paradigm. In the past, servers and IT infrastructure have been in-house - often in the basement of the company building. This forces a company's IT success to battle against issues such as: § Limited CPU power available. § Limited main memory available. § Limited bandwidth in the internet available. With the introduction and expansion of the SAP Cloud, IT infrastructure and software applications do not have to be in-house any more, battling against the abovementioned issues. They can now be rented as a service where CPU power, main memory, and internet bandwidth are unlimited. Take a look at Video 1, where Rainer Zinow gives an overview to SAP Cloud Strategy.
