Data protection specialist Veeam Software and Amazon Web Services are collaborating to help joint partners ease customers into the cloud.

Veeam and AWS's joint channel activation program is intended for traditional as well as born in the cloud partners, and aims to promote the use of Veeam Availability Suite to accelerate and simplify cloud migrations.

Veeam's software provides native, fully automated AWS backup and disaster recovery to protect, manage and control all customer data stored on AWS, while integrating with Veeam's other cloud backup solutions or organisations with hybrid cloud environments.

The joint program, which will run in ANZ and certain other markets in the APJ region, involves educating partners on the sales process and messaging, helping build services expertise to drive additional revenue and accelerating opportunities through AWS programs while increasing profitability for the partner.
