Artificial Intelligence and Global Security | Center for a …

The CNAS Artificial Intelligence and Global Security Initiative explores how the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution could lead to changes in global power, the character of conflict, and crisis stability. The Initiative also examines the security dimensions of AI safety and prospects for international cooperation.

This research initiative is informed by the Task Force on Artificial Intelligence and National Security and the Artificial Intelligence and International Stability Project. The AI Task Force, composed of private industry leaders, former senior government officials, and academic experts, is co-chaired by former Deputy Secretary of Defense Robert O. Work and Dr. Andrew Moore, Head of Google Cloud Artificial Intelligence. The AI and International Stability Project is building a community of practice from academia, business, and government policymakers to understand how AI is likely to develop and shape the international security environment.
